Choose your standard and frequency

Three clear tiers. Every line a number, not a vague bundle.

The same fixed-price promise, named team and reporting on every tier. What changes is the standard we hold and how often we visit — each set out as a number you can hold us to.

Tier I
Avery Core
Baseline fixed annual price
Visits
~22 a year
Growing (Mar–Nov)
Fortnightly
Winter (Dec–Feb)
4-weekly

Tidy — lawns and main areas kept, beds and edges to a defined baseline every visit.

  • Hard-surface weed kept ≤10%, 2 treatments a year
  • Hedges cut 2× a year to a defined line
  • Beds and edges kept to baseline
  • Annual audit report against the standard
Tier III
Avery Signature
+120% on Core (≈2.2×)
Visits
~44 a year
Growing (Mar–Nov)
Weekly
Winter (Dec–Feb)
Fortnightly

A weekly show standard held, plus enhancement — seasonal colour, spring mulch and a turf programme where the site demands it.

  • Hard-surface weed kept ≤2%, 6 treatments a year
  • Hedges cut 4× a year
  • Seasonal colour, spring mulch & turf programme
  • Named supervisor on the account
  • Monthly report + annual condition report

Why Plus, not Core

Same rhythm. The whole site, every visit.

Grass in the South West is away by April and barely stops until November. Core and Plus visit on the very same fortnightly rhythm — Plus just gets through the whole site each time, not only the lawns. Signature steps up to weekly to hold a show finish through the growing season.

JFMAMJJASOND
Avery Plus · ~22 a year · fortnightly Mar–Nov, 4-weekly in winter

Core keeps it tidy. Plus comes just as often but gets through the whole site every visit — every bed, every edge, not just the lawns. Signature holds a weekly show finish.

Your portal — on every tier

Access comes as standard. Depth is what steps up.

Every client gets the portal, the photo record after each visit and the full compliance pack — we never gate the record of what we did behind a tier. What deepens with the tier is the reporting, the history you can see and the board-ready detail.

The same backbone, every tier

Compliance and accountability come as standard.

The tier sets the level of finish. The professionalism underneath it never changes.

01

Documented compliance

RAMS, method statements and COSHH on file for every site — the liability sits with us, not you.

02

Qualified, insured crews

PA1/PA6 ticketed operatives, fully insured, SafeContractor approved.

03

One named contact

An account manager who knows your sites, with regular reviews and a same-day response.

04

Predictable budgets

One fixed annual figure, reviewed once a year in the open — billed to suit your service-charge cycle.

How fixed-price contracts work

Priced once, up front — no surprises after.

A fixed annual price is more comparable than an hourly rate, not less — it's the number you'll actually pay, and the one you can put straight next to anyone else's.

We price the whole year

After a site visit we set one figure for the full scope — not a day rate that creeps.

Transparent annual review

Any annual review is index-linked to published wage and inflation figures — worked out in the open and agreed in writing, never an opaque number.

Billed to suit you

Equal scheduled instalments that line up with your service-charge or budget cycle.

One programme, many sites

Multi-site portfolios priced and managed as a single programme with one point of contact.

Every contract is scoped to the site — share yours and we'll come back with a clear fixed-price proposal, usually within 48 hours.

From enquiry to first visit

Switching contractor is simpler than you think.

Site visit & assessment

We walk the site, understand the standards expected and what's falling short today.

Fixed-price proposal

A clear scope and one annual price — no jargon, nothing hidden.

Mobilisation

We agree a schedule and start dates, and handle a smooth handover from your current contractor.

Reported delivery

A named team delivers to schedule, with photo proof and a scorecard after every visit.

Common questions

Contracts, answered plainly.

How long is an Avery contract?
Our contracts run on a rolling annual basis with a straightforward notice period, so you're never locked into something that isn't working. We'll confirm the exact terms in your proposal.
What happens if standards slip?
You have one named account manager and a priority response, and because every visit is photo-evidenced with a scorecard, issues are visible and addressed quickly — usually before anyone has to chase.
Can you cover multiple sites or a whole portfolio?
Yes. Multi-site portfolios are priced and managed as a single programme on one consistent schedule and reporting standard, with one point of contact for everything.
How do you handle health, safety and compliance?
Documented RAMS, method statements and COSHH for every site, PA1/PA6 qualified operatives, full public and employer's liability insurance, and SafeContractor approval — all as standard, on every tier.
Can you take over from our current contractor?
Yes — we manage a smooth mobilisation and handover so there's no gap in service. Where staff transfer applies, we'll handle it correctly with you.
What areas do you cover?
Somerset, Devon and Dorset, operating from our base in Taunton. If you're near the edges of that, just ask.
Can the scope change during the year?
Every service runs off the same dependable contract base, so you can add what a site needs — extra planting, tree work, a one-off clearance — without renegotiating the whole agreement.
What's your hourly rate?
We don't price by the hour — and that works in your favour. For your site, held to a set standard and visited on a set frequency, you get one fixed figure for the year: the number you'll actually pay, not a day rate that creeps. Put it next to anyone else's annual figure and you're comparing like for like. An hourly rate prices an input, not your grounds or how they'll look — two firms at the same £/hour can leave a site looking nothing alike. If procurement needs a unit, we'll express it per m² or per visit, still priced to a standard rather than a stopwatch.
How do annual price reviews work?
Once a year, at renewal, we review the price against two published figures — the National Living Wage announcement (gov.uk) and the ONS CPI inflation rate. Any change is shown with its working before it's agreed — never applied automatically, and never an opaque number.
